The quality and quantity of varieties cannot meet the needs of my country's economic construction and development. demand, new hot-dip galvanizing lines still need to be built to meet market needs.
Since the 1990s, my country's galvanized steel sheet production has made great progress, and the domestic galvanized sheet processing capacity has reached nearly 10,000 or is under construction. In recent years, the market share of domestically produced galvanized sheets has increased rapidly, from about 10% to 20%. The main domestic
manufacturers are Baosteel, Wuhan Iron and Steel, Panzhihua Iron and Steel, Handan Iron and Steel, Benxi Iron and Steel, etc. The total production capacity has exceeded 10,000 tons.
The main gap between my country's existing hot-dip galvanizing units and foreign advanced levels is that most of the units do not have pre-cleaning equipment, and it is difficult to guarantee the quality of the galvanized surface. The existing finishing machines are relatively simple two-roller finishing machines. The four-roller Pangang machine cannot better improve the mechanical properties of the strip, especially the deep drawing performance. The existing varieties are all single galvanized sheets with only a small amount of alloyed sheets, which is far from meeting market needs.
