The B-type spectrometer is a highly sensitive spectrofluorometer with a preset range of fluorescence functions.
We utilize proprietary thin film technology and time gate spectrometers to make the Type B spectrometer % more sensitive than the standard Type B spectrometer.

Reflector
Our standard reflector is replaced with a special silver-coated reflector to increase reflection, thereby increasing the sensitivity of the spectrometer by ~%. The reflector not only increases the sensitivity of the spectrometer, but also absorbs almost all ultraviolet light, virtually eliminating excitation sources that interfere with the sample spectrum.
Gated Phosphorescence Function
B comes preloaded with variable delay gating microcode that allows the user to set a delay (in microseconds) between turning on the light and the integration time of the spectrometer or the time the probe sees the sample. , the spectrometer only detects sample light when the light source is turned off. However, in order to use gated phosphorescence functionality, your fluorophore must have a long fluorescence lifetime. This feature is particularly useful for lanthanides and phosphorescent materials.
Probe condenser lens
The detection port of B is equipped with a detection condenser lens. This cylindrical lens increases the light concentration rate of the spectrometer and reduces dispersion. Very useful for thick fiber for low light level applications.
Comes with filters
B can be used with our series of linearly variable filters to create a good system for separating excitation energy and fluorescence energy. Use our line variable low-pass filters to fine-tune the excitation source for maximum signal and minimum interference. Use our line variable high pass filter on the test side. The holder and clip facilitate the installation of the filter.
Application scope
B can be used to detect the fluorescence of liquids and powders and neutral surfaces. We are using B to measure anthrax. B is portable and can be used to measure fluorescence on coral polyps, fruits and other plants and animals.
