The machine mainly consists of an ear picking mechanism, an ear box, a straw cutter, and a field supporter. During operation, the harvester moves the corn plant along the direction of the corn ridge. The ear handle is pulled off under the action of the roller picking plate. Due to the height difference between the inner and outer picking rollers, the ears fall into the ear box and are opened and stacked after the ear box is full. The high-speed rotating cutter cuts the straw from the root and sends it to the crushing mechanism to chop it into long pieces. The chopped straw is naturally scattered.
The integrated design of this machine for picking ears and returning them to the field is reasonable and can complete multiple tasks such as picking ears, stacking stems, crushing and returning them to the field in one go. It is an economical and practical corn harvester. It is equipped with single-cylinder small four-wheel tractors with more than 100 horsepower. The machine has a low breakage rate and is equipped with a crop support system that forces corn stalks into the crop supporter to change the traditional defect of pushing corn to the ears for picking and high damage rate, allowing mature corn to enter the granary of farmers' friends to the maximum extent. This machine is not limited by corn row spacing. Due to the two-row harvesting, the problem of incorrect rows of corn is overcome. This machine integrates ear picking, peeling and straw returning to the field, which is the best way to harvest corn. The harvester has a very low failure rate and is easy to operate and can be used in the vast rural areas. A small four-wheel tractor with more than one horsepower can harvest about one mu of corn per hour and has significant economic benefits.
