A lead smelting furnace refers to a non-ferrous metal smelting furnace improved on the basis of a blast furnace. This furnace is specially used for waste batteries. The smelter of battery lead can operate the raw materials in this furnace, and can automatically complete the smelting and reduction of lead slag and lead water, so the operation is simple. Moreover, this kind of furnace adopts a closed working principle, so it has the advantages of a good working environment. Generally, it consists of three parts: furnace hearth, furnace body and furnace top.
Furnace top: There is a charging chamber. The furnace roof and the smelting chamber roof are both made of steel water jackets lined with refractory coating. The charging chamber roof is equipped with a main feeding port. The smelting chamber roof is equipped with an auxiliary feeding port and a smoke exhaust port.
Furnace body: It is divided into a molten pool area and a re-burning area. The two sides are equipped with molten pool tuyere (lower tuyere) and re-burning tuyere (upper tuyere). One end is the feeding chamber and the other end is the slag siphon well and siphon lead discharge port. The slag discharge port is higher than the lower tuyere to form a molten pool, that is, the depth of the molten pool can be adjusted by the height of the slag port.
Hearth: The furnace bottom is in an inverted arch shape in a steel tank made of magnesia-chromium bricks welded to steel plates. The upper edge of the furnace is paved with horizontal steel plates to support the lower water jacket of the furnace body. The function of the furnace hearth is to stratify the slag and lead and discharge them separately through the siphon channel. The small lead siphon port of the furnace is arranged at the bottom of the slag siphon well.
