Crizotinib, a new option for advanced lung cancer!

Crizotinib capsule is a new anti-cancer oral preparation developed by Pfizer. It was named Crizotinib after it was launched in my country. Crizotinib capsules are approved for the treatment of patients with anaplastic lymphoma kinase-positive locally advanced or metastatic non-small cell lung cancer.

Crizotinib capsule is a tyrosine kinase receptor inhibitor, including hepatocyte growth factor receptor (R,) and R. The formation of fusion proteins can cause activation and dysregulation of gene expression and signaling, thereby promoting the proliferation and survival of tumor cells expressing these proteins. Crizotinib capsules have a concentration-dependent inhibitory effect on phosphorylation detected at the cellular level in tumor cell lines and have anti-tumor activity.

Crizotinib capsules are only suitable for patients with positive advanced non-small cell lung cancer. Positive evaluation results confirmed by fully validated testing methods must be obtained before taking crizotinib capsules.

The recommended dosage of crizotinib capsules is oral administration, once daily. If patients benefit from clinical treatment, they should continue taking the drug. Physicians should interrupt treatment or reduce the dose based on the safety and tolerability of different patients. If dose reduction is necessary, reduce crizotinib capsules to oral administration once daily. If further dose reduction is necessary, adjust the dose to oral once daily based on patient safety and tolerability.
