Definition of a fertilizing tank: A fertilizing tank is also called a differential pressure fertilizing tank. It is connected by two snakeskin tubes to the inlet and outlet of the fertilizing tank, and then connected to the shaped tubes on both sides of the gate valve and the ball valve on the mesh filter. In order to generate a small pressure difference (meter water pressure), part of the water flows into the fertilizing tank, and the water inlet pipe goes directly to the bottom of the fertilizing tank. After the water dissolves the fertilizer in the tank, the fertilizer solution enters the main pipe from the water outlet, bringing the fertilizer to the crops. The root zone is applied to the root system of crops or on the leaves of crops through various irrigation devices (micro-sprinklers, micro-spray tapes, drip irrigation pipes, drip tapes, drippers, drip arrows, etc.).
2. Installation and use
Use two snakeskin pipes to connect to the inlet and outlet of the fertilizer tank, and then connect them to the shaped pipes and mesh filters on both sides of the gate valve. ball valve connection.
Calculate the amount of fertilizer to be applied according to the specific area of the irrigation area or the number of crops (if trees) in each round of irrigation. Weigh or measure the fertilizer for each irrigation cycle.
Pour liquid fertilizer directly into the fertilizing tank. If solid fertilizer is used, the fertilizer should be dissolved first and poured into the fertilizing tank through the filter. When using a tank with a smaller volume, solid fertilizer can be put directly into the fertilization tank to allow the fertilizer to dissolve during the irrigation process, but more than three times the amount of water is needed to ensure that all the fertilizer is used up.
After filling the fertilizer solution, fasten the lid of the tank.
Check that the inlet and outlet ball valves of the fertilizing valve are closed and the gate valve is open.
Slowly open the inlet and outlet ball valves. When the fertilizer tank is filled with water, slowly close the gate valve. At the same time, pay attention to the pressure gauge to reach the required pressure difference (water pressure).
After applying fertilizer, close the ball valves on both sides of the gate valve.
When draining the water and fertilizer in the fertilizer tank, the drainage ball valve at the bottom of the fertilizer tank should be opened.
Three things to note when using fertilizer tanks
It is best to dissolve solid fertilizer and pour it into the fertilizer tank, otherwise the tank may be blocked, especially when the pressure is low. Some fertilizers may contain some impurities, which need to be dissolved and filtered before pouring into the fertilizer tank.
After each application of fertilizer, the pipes should be flushed with irrigation water to drain the fertilizer liquid remaining in the pipes. General drip irrigation systems and micro-sprinkler irrigation have no requirements for sprinkler irrigation systems. The general situation is that the larger the irrigation area at the head, the longer the water pipeline, and the longer the flushing time. Flushing is a necessary process. Because the residual fertilizer liquid remains in the pipes and drippers, it is easy to breed algae, moss and other low-level plants, clogging the drippers. When the irrigation water hardness is high, the residual fertilizer liquid forms a precipitate at the dripper, causing blockage, so flush it in time. Basically, it can prevent clogging. According to statistics from our company's Engineering Department, most emitter blockages after fertilization are caused by failure to flush in time after fertilization.
The pressure difference required by the fertilizer tank is obtained by the control valve between the water inlet and the water outlet. Because the irrigation time is usually longer than the fertilizer application time, the gate valve should be fully open when no fertilizer is applied.
In order to prevent the dripper nozzle from being blocked by impurities, the mesh filter must be placed behind the gate valve.
