This instrument is based on the test cone method specified in B "Cement Slurry Standard Consistency Water Consumption, Setting Time, Stability Inspection Method" The substitute method of the standard consistency measurement method, the test rod method, is the standard method of the standard consistency measurement method. Therefore, the pilot cone method can still be used to measure standard consistency in daily tests. This set of cone card instrument accessories is mainly used for the determination of standard consistency measurement method (standard method), initial setting and final setting time. When measuring the standard consistency (standard method) and setting time of cement paste according to the new standard, only the sliding part of the original setting time measuring instrument needs to be replaced, while the fixed part (bracket and scale) remains unchanged. Only when it is ensured that the new sliding rod can fall freely by gravity in the original Vicat meter bracket hole without tightness or looseness, the original Vicat meter should be used. The bracket meets the standards, otherwise a new vicater should be purchased.
When replacing accessories in the future, please note that in addition to the size of each accessory complying with the standard, the total weight of the sliding part must be guaranteed
Instructions for use of cement standard consistency meter:
Replace the dimensions originally used for setting time measurement. Remove all sliding parts of the card instrument. The original sliding rod fixing knob is retained. Install the new slide lever and pointer in their original positions.
When measuring the standard consistency of cement paste (standard method), connect the threaded end of the standard consistency rod to the sliding rod and tighten the consistency rod.
When measuring the initial setting time, connect the threaded end of the initial setting test needle to the sliding rod and tighten the initial setting test needle.
When measuring the final setting time, connect the threaded end of the final setting test needle to the sliding rod and tighten the final setting test needle.
The three accessories of the above standard consistency test rod, initial setting test needle and final setting test needle have the same weight and can be interchanged during testing.
