Product Introduction
It is a plant of the Labiatae family, Jinga. A brown powdery extract product of the aerial parts of mustard r.
The chemical composition of volatile oils is mainly menthone (), menthone, -pulegone (-), limonene, nepetaside, ().
Function: It is mainly used to treat phlegm and rash. Used for colds, headaches, opaque measles, and the onset of boils. Stir-fried charcoal treats blood in the stool and metrorrhagia.
Remarks:
The plant form is an annual herb with a tall height and fragrance. The stem is square, pubescent, slightly purple at the base and much branched at the upper part. Leaves are opposite, pinnately deeply lobed, with strip-shaped or lanceolate lobes long and wide. Both sides are pubescent, with glandular points on the lower surface, nearly sessile. Verticillary multi-flowered inflorescence with integrated top growth, interrupted pseudospike, calyx, narrow bell-shaped hairs, calyx teeth, triangular lanceolate corolla, bluish-purple lip shape, longer than calyx lower lip, middle lobe, apex slightly concave, base claw-shaped, narrowed, stamens 2 powerful. The nutlets are oblong and triangular with small points. Flowering and fruiting period ~ month.
It is cultivated in most parts of the country. Mainly produced in Hebei, Jiangsu, Zhejiang, Jiangxi, Hubei and Hunan.
Harvested in summer and autumn when the flowers bloom to the top and the ears are green, remove impurities and dry them in the sun.
