Technology

Parallel Measurements
Measurements of several sums can be carried out in parallel, which is achieved by the fast response of the module hardware, the high overall processing power of the unit and the avoidance of bottlenecks of dedicated operations. Examples of parallel operations using ? technology are various measurements and simultaneous phase/frequency error magnitude error and audio measurements, or various spectrum measurements.
Innovative remote processing
The novel second addressing mode is able to address similar functions of each subsystem (different mobile station standards) in almost the same way. Using this type of addressing, new remote test programs can be programmed through simple cut-and-paste operations, and then the control program can be adapted to the new application by editing specific commands. The second addressing is fully consistent, which means that the subsystem address, for example, can be replaced by a string representing a different subsystem, another mobile communication standard.

The basic unit consists of a generator and analyzer, which are supplemented by a network-independent multifunctional time domain menu and an integrated spectrum analyzer. As an example, the figure above shows the measurement of the power-time characteristic.
When in manual mode, the optimal view can be selected by combining the graphical and numerical view menus. The menu structure is smooth and configured using context-sensitive options, inputs, and drop-down menus.
