Plant form: perennial herb, tall-. The leaves are alternate and have long stalks; the leaves on the lower part of the stem are three-pinnately compound leaves, and the branch ends are single leaves; the leaflets are narrowly ovate, lanceolate or elliptical, with cartilage denticles on the edges. Flowers terminal and axillary; sepals, purplish red; petals -, white, pink or purple; stamens numerous; carpel -, hairless or densely covered with white hairs, condyles, fruit ovate, apex curved outward into hook shape .
