Overview


The series of high-voltage cage motor electro-hydraulic starters are starting equipment specially developed to improve the asynchronous starting performance of large and medium-sized AC asynchronous motors and high-voltage synchronous motors. It has soft starting characteristics of small and constant starting current and gradually increasing speed. Its performance and effect are far superior to reactor starting and self-coupling step-down starting. This product can be widely used in high-voltage cage AC asynchronous motors in industries such as steel, petrochemicals, building materials, chemicals, fertilizers, papermaking, pharmaceuticals, and metallurgy.

Basic Principle

The series of high-voltage cage motor electro-hydraulic starters changes the resistance of the liquid resistor in the stator circuit so that the starting voltage of the motor follows the rotation of the motor. The differential rate decreases and increases, and the starting current remains below three times the rated current.

Working principle
Insert a three-phase liquid resistor in series into the stator circuit of the controlled motor. The liquid resistor is automatically put in when the motor is started. The resistance value decreases steplessly within a predetermined time and is close to zero. It is automatically cut off when the motor is running, so that the terminal voltage of the motor gradually increases, the torque gradually increases, and the voltage starts smoothly without impact.
