On-site layout process of aluminum smelting boiler dust collector
The layout of pulse bag dust collector pipes in aluminum plants should match the structure of the factory building, occupy less effective space, not hinder operation, and facilitate installation and maintenance.
The aluminum factory dust collector dust collection system should not have too many dust suction points. Generally, there should be no more than 1 dust suction point in one system. When the distance between the suction points of the dust collector is not large or the resistance between the parallel branch pipes can still be balanced, the number of suction points of the bag dust collector can be appropriately increased, but it should not exceed 2. For a dust collection system with many dust collection points, a large-section collection pipe can be used to connect each dust collector branch pipe to facilitate the balance of resistance between the branch pipes.
In order to prevent the dust from the dust collector in the aluminum plant from being deposited in the pipeline, the dust collection pipeline of the dust collector should be arranged horizontally as much as possible, especially the pipeline transporting pulverized coal. The angle between the pulse bag dust collector pipe and the horizontal plane must be no less than . Aluminum factory dust collectors can also be arranged horizontally for pipes with no explosion risk containing dust concentrations of less than //, and the flow rate in the pipes is greater than //. Due to various special reasons for aluminum factory dust collectors, when the pipelines must be arranged horizontally, the length of the horizontal pipelines should be shortened as much as possible, and cleaning holes or compressed air pipe joints should be installed near pipe fittings such as elbow tees of the dust collector pipes to facilitate regular cleaning. Branch pipes should be connected from above or from the side of the main pipe.
In order to adjust the air volume of the dust collector in the aluminum plant and meet the needs of detection, measuring holes should be reserved on the outlet connecting pipe of the dust hood and on the inlet and outlet pipes of the dust collector and fan. The measuring hole should be set on a straight pipe section with stable air flow, and should be as far away as possible from elbows, tees and other special-shaped pipe fittings to reduce the impact of eddy currents on the measurement results. Do not open the measuring hole above the air duct of the dust collector to avoid affecting the measurement results. The dust collection system of bag dust collectors in large aluminum plants can be equipped with instruments for online measurement of air volume, air pressure, content analysis, temperature and other parameters according to specific conditions.
In the dust collection system of the aluminum factory with many dust collection points, devices such as gate valves or butterfly valves to adjust the air volume should be installed on each branch pipe. The valve should be installed in a location that is easy to operate and difficult to collect dust.
Under normal circumstances, the exhaust duct of the dust collection system of the aluminum factory dust collector should be higher than the roof. If the exhaust duct will affect surrounding buildings, it should be appropriately raised depending on the specific situation. Generally, the outlet of the vertical exhaust pipe in the open air should be equipped with a rainproof cap to prevent rainwater from entering the pipe. When the jet can be used and the discharged pollutant gas can be released at a higher position, the rainproof cap does not need to be provided on the top.
When the bag dust collector pipe in an aluminum factory is installed horizontally, the general spacing of its fixing parts (clamps, hangers, brackets, etc.) should be determined according to the diameter of the dust collector pipe. When the dust collector pipe is installed vertically, the distance between the fixing parts should be no less than 1. Pull ropes and hangers are not allowed to be fixed directly to the flange of the pipe.

This not only saves the material used in the air duct, but also reduces air flow resistance and reduces power consumption. Due to the close distance between aluminum factory workshops, raw materials such as cables and water pipes can also be saved, reducing factory investment.
