Key points for bag filter installation and operation
Select an appropriate delivery pump according to the flow rate, connect a stop valve to the liquid inlet pipe on the filter, and place a stop valve at the lower outlet to connect the liquid pipe. Precautions for selection
If the viscosity of the filter medium is high, the flow rate of the filtration system will attenuate, and the actual flow rate selected should be greater than the theoretical flow rate.
The more impurities there are, the more frequently the filter bags will be replaced, and the longer the standby time will be, the more detrimental it will be to production. Therefore, the filtering area should be appropriately increased during system design.
The higher the filtration precision, the higher the density of the filter material, the greater the resistance to the flow of the medium, the smaller the filtration flow capacity, and a larger filtration area needs to be selected.
If the retention medium is hard, choose surface filtration, such as metal mesh, nylon mesh, etc. If it is soft or contains colloidal particles, choose depth filtration.
Pay attention to the working conditions of the filter medium, such as chemical compatibility, flow size, and temperature to determine the filter type, single bag or multi-bag, what grade of stainless steel (such as, etc.) the filter material is made of, and the sealing Material.
When actually designing the system, the site area and continuity of production must be considered.
