Magnetostrictive liquid level gauges are widely used in the measurement and control of liquid levels and interfaces in process control, petroleum processing, pharmaceuticals, food processing, water treatment, tank area management, gas station underground inventory and other fields. A series of two-wire high-precision intelligent magnetostrictive liquid level gauges are measuring instruments developed based on the principle of magnetostrictive induction torsional waves that can measure liquid level and interface at the same time. Since its measurement process is not affected by changes in pressure, temperature, dielectric constant and other factors, it has the advantages of high accuracy, good stability, high reliability, long service life, maintenance-free, safety and reliability.
The magnetostrictive liquid level gauge consists of three parts: the detection rod, the circuit unit and the float. With R protocol, zero point and range can be adjusted remotely. Various parameters can also be adjusted through the three buttons and LCD inside the casing. Configurable parameters include unit, display upper and lower limits, damping, translation correction, calibration upper and lower limits, digital-analog fine-tuning correction, and factory reset
Working principle of magnetostrictive liquid level gauge:
The liquid level When measuring, the circuit unit generates a current pulse, which propagates downward along the magnetostrictive line and generates a ring-shaped magnetic field. There is a float outside the detection rod, and the float moves up and down along the detection rod as the liquid level changes. Since the float is equipped with a set of permanent magnets, the float generates a magnetic field at the same time. When the current magnetic field meets the float magnetic field, a twist pulse, or return pulse, is generated. The time difference between the return pulse and the current pulse is converted into a pulse signal, thereby calculating the actual position of the float and measuring the liquid level.
