The operation of the dry slag filter is divided into several working processes: pre-circulation filtration, normal filtration, cake blowing, and slag discharge.
The material liquid to be treated enters the filter tank from the feed port driven by the feed pump. After filling the filter tank, filter from outside to inside. The filtrate passes through the filter screen and flows out of the collecting pipe. If the filtrate in the early stage is opaque (or contains a lot of impurities in the sampling test), it is generally necessary to perform cyclic pre-filtration for ~ minutes, and then switch to normal filtration after the filtrate reaches the standard.
As impurities are continuously trapped by the filter screen, a filter cake layer will form on the surface of the filter screen. As the thickness of the filter cake layer continues to increase, the filtration resistance will also increase (which also reflects the increase in the pressure of the pressure gauge on the top of the filter). The corresponding filtration speed will slow down and the flow rate at the filter outlet will decrease.

(this data should be known during the debugging process). Stop feeding and introduce compressed air to filter the materials in the filter tank. And blow dry the filter cake.
The dried filter cake passes through the butterfly valve or quick-opening valve mechanism at the bottom of the filter to force vibrate the filter screen to remove the filter cake. During the process of filter cake peeling, the surface of the filter screen also becomes clean, which is beneficial to the next filtration.
